On April 14, 2008, CUMT’s vice president LIU Jiongtian attended the news conference of “Pacific Forum 2008”, which is co-sponsored by Shanghai Jiaotong University, Municipal People’s Government of Xuzhou, RAND Corp.(U.S.A),Wenhui Daily and CUMT.

The “Pacific Forum” will be held in Xuzhou from April 22 to 23, with a theme of “Global Energy Development and Cooperation”. Altogether 300 attendees will be present at the forum, including energy experts, famous scholars, senior management and entrepreneurs from energy industry both from China and abroad.
